Deploying your Brain

After you have trained your Brain and feel good about its performance, Brain Builder makes it easy to deploy and use your trained Brain.

  1. From the Workspace or the Dataset page, click the Deploy Brain button.

This will bring you to the Brain Deployment manager.

  2. Click the Publish tab. From there, you can load your Brain into the Staging and Production environments for testing and deployment.

The first time you deploy your Brain, the Staging and Production environments will be empty. Your Brain is shown in the Current box with its accuracy and date displayed for reference.

  3. Click the Promote button to the right of Current to load your Brain into the Staging environment.

When your Brain is in Staging, you can use the inference API to test it by submitting images and getting predictions back. See Inference API and SDK for more information.

  4. When you have tested the Brain in Staging and confirmed everything is working the way you want, click the Promote button to the right of Staging to load your Brain into the Production environment.

Once your Brain is in Production, update your API calls to use the Production endpoint and you'll be good to go!

Information When you have deployed your Brain in either Staging or Production, a rocket icon appears on the project card and the dataset card to indicate that it contains a deployed Brain.
